A Gold medalist was spotted sleeping in a park on the ground after calling the living conditions in the Olympic Village ‘subpar
The Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon, who won two medals last week, was photographed sleeping outdoors instead of on the Olympic Village, specifically designed to house the world class athletes.
This is not the first mention of bad living conditions during the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. Team USA Coco Gauff shared one of her teammates stopped staying there after complaining it was ‘too cramped’.
French swimmer Assia Touati said: “We had no AC in the bedroom but they installed it anyway because it was getting too hot.”
